The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Saudi Arabia have committed to working together to help protect 370 million children annually against polio and to lift millions of people out of poverty in 33 member countries of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).

To coordinate the implementation of this new partnership, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will open a regional office in Saudi Arabia. The announcement is available on the foundation's portal.
