Anyone who has visited the Royal Horse Guards in London knows that these horses bite, and they bite hard! I've seen people being thrown to the ground for getting too close. But these horses are very intelligent and sensitive. They sense the rider's intentions and adapt to their behavior, and in this video, we see proof of that.

Notice that the family stays at a respectful distance, but the rider, on his own initiative, approaches, with the horse sensing this, becoming immediately gentle with those people.
