Whales Take Advantage and Accumulate $1.5 Billion in Bitcoin During the Latest Dip

After nearly $4 billion in Bitcoin losses were sent to exchanges by short-term investors, whales seized the panic selling to increase their holdings.

On Tuesday, around 16,000 BTC were added to whale reserves, a number that continued to grow yesterday, totaling approximately $1.5 billion in on-chain accumulation.

It’s important to note that this figure reflects Bitcoin moved to institutional addresses on the network. However, a significant amount of coins likely remains unsent and stored in these players' exchange accounts.

So far, this spot buying volume hasn’t been enough to signal a more widespread "buy-the-dip" trend, remaining heavily concentrated among institutional investors.

For a new all-time high (ATH) to be achieved, a larger volume of spot buying from both retail and institutional players will be required.
