META, the company that controls Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has banned RT and other Russian state news and propaganda outlets.

"After careful consideration, we have expanded our ongoing enforcement against Russian state media outlets. Rossiya Segodnya, RT, and other related entities are now banned from our platforms globally due to foreign interference activities."
