Just 15 years ago, the Polish armed forces ranked 6th in Europe, with the country investing less than 1.5% of its GDP in defense. But today, in 2024, Poland has the largest army in Europe, the 3rd largest in NATO (behind only the USA and Turkey in terms of personnel), and is preparing to have one of the largest armored fleets in the world.

Today, Poland took another significant step in modernizing its defense by receiving its first F-35A fighter jet, named "Husarz."
