The GOP is trying hard to tie Harris more closely to Biden on the economy, immigration and the border.

One big problem: Americans don't think she played a particularly central role.

(And that includes on immigration, despite the "border czar" stuff.)



Fewer than 1 in 6 Americans think Harris has had a "great deal" of influence on Biden's economic and immigration policies.

The numbers are even lower among independents: 8% on the economy and 13% on immigration.
