Russian President Vladimir Putin and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva discussed current issues related to the development of the Russia-Brazil strategic partnership.

In a statement, the Kremlin said: "Regarding the natural fires that have devastated several Brazilian regions, Vladimir Putin expressed his willingness to help overcome the disaster's aftermath, if needed."

Several international agenda topics were also discussed.
