Venezuela 🇻🇪/Guyana 🇬🇾: Satellite images show that Venezuela has reinforced its military presence near the border with Guyana.

Maxar images collected in January showed an expansion of operations at the Venezuelan military base on Anacoco Island, in the Cuyuni River, which borders Guyana, with several new sections of tropical forest recently deforested and others being demolished when the images were captured.
The images also show new infrastructure and various armored vehicles present at the site.
