USA 🇺🇸: Lawmakers in the state of Louisiana have passed a bill that prohibits transgender individuals from entering school bathrooms aligned with their gender identity, mandating the use of bathrooms corresponding to the sex defined on their birth certificate.

The bill, dubbed the "Women's Safety and Protection Act," aims to codify the meanings of "male" and "female" in state law.

The bill now heads to Governor Jeff Landry's (R) desk, where it is expected to be signed into law.
